DOYLES appoints Weir Services as authorized Middle East repair facility.
Houston, TX (November 22, 2008, 2008) DOYLES, a U.S. based oilfield pressure control equipment manufacturer, today announced a licensing agreement with Weir Services Middle East, a branch office of Weir Engineering Services Limited, to serve as DOYLES authorized service facility in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt, Oman, Yemen, Bahrain, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Weir’s workshop in the Jebel Ali Freezone, Dubai.
“This is a major step forward for us in our quest to become a global company,” Dan Henderson, President and CEO of DOYLES, noted. “Our agreement with Weir enables us to establish a significant footprint in the Middle East, one of our major areas of interest. As a result, our Middle East and North Africa customers will now be able to have their equipment repaired locally, instead of shipping it back and forth to our facilities in the U.S., saving them a significant amount of turnaround time and shipping expense.”
“We are delighted to be chosen as DOYLES Middle East service arm,” Jim O’Neil (TITLE) Weir Services, notes. “Doyles not only manufactures high quality products, they have a very proactive, customer-centric service philosophy, just as we do. Together, we should be able to deliver the most capable and responsive service in the Middle East.”
Weir Services delivers end-to-end solutions for customers around the globe to ensure the highest levels of continuity, quality and productivity. Weir Services Middle East holds a commercial licence issued by the Government of Dubai; their local address is P.O. Box 11419, Jebel Ali FZ, Dubai, UAE.
DOYLES is an API 6A, 16A and 16C licensed manufacturer. In addition to its own manufactured equipment, DOYLES repairs, re-manufactures, stocks and supplies a wide variety of well pressure-control equipment, including choke and kill manifolds, blowout preventers, valves, chokes and more.
